It lies on the west of Weibei Dry
Planteau, northwest of Xianyang City. The population of the
county is 348,000, under its jurisdictions are 13 towns, 247
villages,covers an area of 1185 square metres. On the
north it stands next to Xunyi county, on the eastwest we can see
Chunhua county, on the south we can see Yongshou county, and on the
northwest, Linyou county, on the west, Changwu county and
Lingtai County of Gansu Province, on itn north ,Zhengning
county of Gansu Province. It is the essential stop from Xi’an city
to the west and Northwest China.It is also one of the key
ports in North China. The ancient Silk Road passed through here. Now
Xiping Railway and Fuyin Express way also pass through here. It is
120 kilometres away from here to xi'an city.
It lies from
East Longititude 107°49′-108°22′ North Altitude 34°51′-35°17′. It
belongs to Warm temperate and semi-arid continental monsoon climate.
It is hot in summer, mild and rainy in fall, rain and hot weather
